The Bible is not an astronomical textbook, it's a history of God's relationship with man and His Messianic Plan for Redemption, when it says the sun rises etc, it is just a turn of phrase based on what humans actually experience, similarly, the four corners of the earth merely refer to the cardinal directions, N/S/E/W
