@Locke That may be why then. Over in 'Western' culture this seems increasing common.
Not all western culture
I don't want to dox myself, so the max I will say is I live in the Mediterranean
which due to catholicism is more conservative than 'mainstream' Europe and the Anglosphere
And we are still in the phase where the insane crap is contained in universities... so far
Big long Italy kicked poor Sicily into the middle of the Mediterranean sea
Somehow remembering a school quote from 20 years ago or more..
Sicilia is paradise
But yeah
My school experience won't be the same as yours for sure
Do you guys have a 'head teacher' per class?
We just have one teacher. @Locke
I used to know a chef who was kinda obsessed with Sicilian ingredients. :)
Okay, in our case we have different teachers per class, with one of them being the 'head teacher'
Our head teacher would basically tell us neither of us would amount to anything
I think by class he means subject
Schools have a head of mathematics and such
oh
We do have teaching assistants, but not for every class, it depends really
That's sort of the same
The way our school system is going it seems to be increasing the ratio of students per teacher, not lessening it by having multiple teachers per class haha
@Locke Wow that's bad.
@InsaneCaterpilla Sounds about right. Don't know if we have subject leaders
@Men Are Human all the guys she singled out saying they wouldn't ever become anything ended up being the only ones graduating from university 😂
Wow, really?
Did she just single out boys or was she equally crappy to both genders?
@Men Are Human heads of maths and other subjects coordinate GCSE study with the other set teachers, plan some of the syllabus for those classes I think
@Men Are Human I honestly cannot remember if she singled out girls too, but she was more lenient with them.
She basically hated us
@InsaneCaterpilla Seems similar then
@Locke She sounds like an awful person. I have heard of studies showing teachers tend to mark boys down and discourage them while bolstering girls. It creates classes where the top boy is marked less than the bottom girl. That's not even the only problem.
I'll be honest with you.
It wasn't like that.
I've had gender-based discriminatory teachers but it wasn't that way in her case.
@Locke That's good to know. I don't want you to make things up.
Hello @WerPrz#9418 ! How are you?
Hello @ko ! How are you tonight?
Any of you doing NoFap?
