so I'm in an empty, new office

in another country

on a sunday

just chilling here

had some dinner delivered to me, but just really bored and really lonely

Is it your new office?

as in, I've been working for this company, they sent me here to expand the branch's office

basically IT work, outside of office hours

welfare is great, but its lonely atm

think like, you're stuck on a space station, its meant to house like 40+ people, but you're alone

Can't you go out to a local cafe/pub somewhere nearby where there are more people around

I mean if you're not doing anything there now anyway

well, I'm thinking of playing some league of legends

also I don't speak malay

You in KL? I think a fair few people speak English

not in the middle of KL, outskirts

yes some do, just they're you know

out having fun lol

it IS sunday atm

the only guy I know he's doing gardening atm, 10 to 20 mins by car

but meh, I don't want to intrude

I could go to the nearest mall but I had enough mall crawling

actually feeling abit homesick

I'm heading back on wednesday

been here since last tues

6 hour coach ride back to singapore

At least the majority of its over now then, you'll be back soon ^^

6 hours? Ack. I actually thought it would be closer than that

pft, its not

here's a fun fact

its about the sametime as flying

there is some truth that intercity transport other than flying makes sense

Why is it that flying would take that long too though? There has to be a reason for that

it takes me like 1 and half hours to get to KLIA, I got to wait an hour at least to get on the plane

the plane takes 45 to get from KL to changi airport

then another half an hour to clear customs if I ran through it

another 1 hour if I jumped onto a cab and got me straight back to office

so see, 6 hours

the coach on the other hand, goes all the way to the causeway, clears both immigrations in half an hour, then drops me like half an hour from my home/office

so it depends, you get to sleep the 5 or 6 hours
