The a couple of problems I have with the credit limit bill:
1. It isn't indexed to the Federal Funds rate which will make it difficult to reduce borrowing during periods of high inflation. Mortgages and other lines of credit are indexed to the Federal Funds or Federal Discount rates, this should be too.
2. It doesn't seem to extend to payday loan lenders. This is a big area of usury that needs a cap as well.

Other than those, it seems like a decent bill that should get populist support.
