they all get squeezed first
and is normally thermally controlled to keep the oil from heating up during the squeezing process
then filtered....
it loses some cbd in this process
afterwards it's centrifuged for a while or set in settling tanks prior to separating between low cbd and high cbd oil types
top layer of the oil after settling or centrifuged is low cbd oil, the lower 1/2 is the high cbd oil
centrifuged is faster but costs more in processing
but settling works well but needs shelf life time of a few weeks to a few months
and lots of storage space for the settling
small outfits will have to do centrifuged, while larger outfits will end up going with settling tanks method because it just costs too much to do centrifuged oil process

those are known as martian blueberries

when a meteor crashes to earth...has these rock crystals that grow to size of skyscrapers when exposed to water
the only way they could stop them was salt water
because the crystals would collapse when they get too big and crash on whatever in front of them til they get stopped...and they end up spreading thru a valley
they had to truck in salt then blow up a dam to stop them
