Here's just a couple straight off the bat

I've not even read these but I can guarantee you they're not doomsday bad lol
its just higher wireless connection sppeds
@NotJesus That isn't true and the guys real job is a therapist. If his name went that public it could cause a lot of issues with his clients. Not only that but harassment to him and his family. Just because you getting doxxed wouldn't do any real harm doesn't mean real harm can't happen to others. People shouldn't have to fear for their livelihoods or life because some huge media organization is threatening to dox you.
"The highest result they found for the 5G band was 0.039% of the recommended exposure limit."
bro, the sources are from BBC and Ispreview compared to jsis.washington.edu ...
and this is just talking about exposure limits rather than band frequency...
I don't really see a difference, you can't be biased with tech, you need to read everything, draw your own conclusions
Bob could be saying pigeons are ticking time bombs while Alice could be saying pigeons are gonna save the planet..
the difference is between an academic source and a state run news site
Band frequency should matter, they wouldn't put public microwave emitters in places they would harm people.. that's why they're on top of skyscrapers.. aimed at dishes
Now don't get me wrong, standing infront of one would fry you inside out..
@NotJesus no wtf
like i said theyre being placed where we usually place street trees
the higher frequency that they operate at requires closer proximity, especially to provide connection to indoors
seriously man, they're placed at a height, much taller than your average human, am I right in believing?
theyre placed right at height level for a second story floor
So second story, I could guarantee you, that even a microwave emitter... from an actual microwave, placed at that height, aimed directly at you, would take a very long time to cook you
sure, some are placed at greater heights, but many are just 5 meters in the air
Even if you were standing right underneath it, then I'd say that's absolutely fine
not really, if it has the connectivity to pierce buildings, it can pierce the air
Common Radio Bands for Wi-Fi and Mobile
Wi-Fi = 2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz
Mobile (2G – 5G) = 700MHz, 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2.1GHz, 2.3 GHz, 2.6GHz, 3-4GHz
NOTE: 5G mostly uses the same bands as existing UK mobile networks above, although in the future it may harness 24-26GHz or higher (aka – millimeter Waves [mmW]).
no one is complaining that theyll fry you alive here
Actually, these waves we're talking about, they don't actually "pierce" buildings, they travel round physical obstacles.. just like a human would have to to reach point A to point B
my computer systems architecture lecturer was also very into his radio and this is what he says
no, theyre capable of piercing objects and not simply just bouncing off or objects
Very thin objects at that, I agree, thin sheet of paper, or even a pane or glass, sure, but the energy in that wave would be greatly reduced
every frequency can do this to an extent, 5g operates at 25-39 GHz if i remember correctly
they can travel through triple glazed windows
yes, ofc
no one is complaining about boiling blood
the amount of energy imparted is not the complaints
Refer to above message, states that 5G uses the same frequencies and bands as mobile, at most 4Ghz
but your standard house brick, no way
its more so about the potential ecological and health effects from long term exposure
5g is mobile connectivity...
this is not the problem we should be worrying about, you might as well add computer and television screens to your list of complaints if this is the one you've chosen
the whole 4g to 5g move is exactly about bringing in mobile and standard connectivity in urban sectors
They're blasting frequencies not far off microwaves right into your face..
no
I have nat 4 physics... yes... I've did waves and radiation..
I failed nat 5 physics, but still did enough to do the exam
