Jake Gardner, veteran and business owner, who was charged with the shooting of James Scurlock after the latter had put him in a strangle hold, has committed suicide. The reason for suicide seems to be the increased media presence he received, his landlord kicking him out and a grand jury reviewing his case and recommending charges after the District attorney had labeled it an obvious act of self defense.
