Well im a bit bummed at the moment
I was talking to the Marine Recruiter for my highschool
Try the Army, I'm sure they have waivers upon waivers for that.
I hope so, but im not optimistic because i just looked it up apparently most people with asthma are barred from military service
The operating word there is "most". I'm sure there's a workaround, if you want it badly enough and you don't have any other issues that could bar you (like drug use).
What are you trying to get as far as your MOS?
Being super Unknowledgeable as I am, I don’t know what that is
What job do you want? If you're looking for something like cybersecurity, intel, or drone operator where the physical demand is low, the chance that you'd get a waiver goes up (but the ASVAB requirements do as well), whereas combat arms or the high physical demand jobs (Special Forces, infantry, combat medic, etc) would be harder to get a waiver for (not impossible though).
I was honestly hoping to be part of an Artillery gun crew
If not that then a drone operator
Sighs
https://youtu.be/iNpKz5kajj8 A-10 farts on you.... But JU-87 screams at you!
What’s a Dear John Letter? And why do I have a bad feeling about it
I don't know about artie crew, that's definitely something to ask a recruiter what's your ASVAB score like?
Dear John letters are basically a "to whom it may concern" from a GF or spouse that says "it's over".
Oh shit that must suck
The flip side would be a Dear Jane letter if written to a female
Or a Dear Primordial Ooze if written to a gender-fluid acronym?
I'm fairly sure since the Artillery Section is a combat post there most likely not going to be letting people w Asthma play with their big irons
Not sure on the RC plane club though
