And the army can spare a couple grenade launchers
Speaking from the Jarhead clan
Dude, I remember when we were living in California, my dad and his buddy accidently built a full auto ppsh, and because of commiefornia that went straight to the nearest sot
Id be more interested in the NODs
Well those are legal anyways
So no need to bribe someone
You cant build a semi-auto PPSH
Well
But also like $10k
The original PPSH was select fire.
Not select fire, open bolt
Yep
Yeah, sadly the parts kit they got ahold of was all or nothing deal. And in the us if the guns open bolt the atf has labaled it a machine gun
Theyre a full-auto only design
They did tweak it
The firerate is insane
Also if you hold it straight up then all the casings run down your back
I'm not really a fan of mega rof I prefer a slower cyclic rate
And yeah, because of the casings they actually we're trained to hold it at an angle
Cyclic rate has less to do with recoil than the buffer system
Well truthfully I feel with a higher cyclic rate regardless of the recoil you could end up wasting more rounds in a target then you need to
Who wants to hear something funny?
Slower rate could not send enough quicky
You can always run bursts
True, but you also face running through your combat load quicker
Ian with forgotten weapons did a really good video on the concept of recoil and machine guns with knights armorys new 5.56 and 308 MGs
I just saw a dude kick his gf out of his place because she cheated and she started yelling at him, she calls over her brother to come beat him up for kicking her out.
Really the only full autos should be support weapons anyway
Guy comes out with a side by side and the brother bolts.
That's glorious
12 gauge side by side Churchill
Ohhhh speaking of side by sides. Anyone here familiar with alofs reloading magazine?
Mhm
It's dumb
Cool tho
Yeah, I can't see it being very practical beyond a range toy. As it is currently at least.
I've never seen it on anything other then single shot 12 gauges though
I'd love to scheme so.ething together for a side by side running two of them. Growing up with games like doom, and serious Sam just gives me an itch for coach guns
But seeing as I don't get to practice much with old doubles (don't own one sadly) I'd love to one day have something like that as a range toy
Side by sides are probably the most beautiful british style of firearm.
Indeed, I feel their easier to load and manipulate, but I love the shell ejection on over unders
