Not American history but it's something that makes me a bit sad. It's considered as controversial as a German to show interest in the German empire or patriotism even though I think it was one of our most glorious ages. In school history of our country pretty much only focuses on ww1 and ww2 and of course Hitler. The way it's handled is good but there is much more than just this dark past and Youtube doesn't help marking everything from that era as hatespeech

You can see the differences between the WW1 US C.E and R.F.K Gas Masks. Main difference is the 5 point and 6 point Head Harness and the facepiece which on the R.F.K is bigger to incorporate the Anti fog lens pockets.
