Gimme a sec
alrighty
So basically first you cancel out the x so it’s only on one side, do you remember how to do that?
probably not
Ok so you just look at whichever has the higher number and that’s where you want the x to be
First one should be 6x/7
Don’t just give the answer
or I think. I nearly failed on simplying rational expressions
this was an example
So you want to simplify the 36 and 42 which ends up being 6/7
You have a three on top and a two on the bottom which means the x will go on top
Three minus two is one, which means there will only be one x on top, no power
for exponents multiplying a variable with exponents is adding. Dividing a variable with exponents is subtracting
Then you just find the greatest common factor for the coefficients (numbers before the x)
Don’t forget the negative
If the exponent ends up being negative than it’s going to the denominator
Yes
It’s best if you can factor out first btw
But that’s not how I do it, you check for whichever is higher and that’s where it’ll go
If the bottom has three and the top has two it goes on the bottom
Yes that’s correct
Good job <:ExcitedPepe:781198443665424424>

Pog<:ExcitedPepe:781198443665424424> hope you didn’t see me answer it
lmao I'll answer the rest and give it to you guys to check
Got it
Ok no prob :)
I love algebra so I’m happy to help lol
maybe ask drac because I did miserable when I did a test on this
You did good on this problem :)
^
that's what I have so far, there's a few more problems
15n/(30n^3) = 1/(2n^2)
And 2) is 1/r since it’s r^2/r^3
👍
For 6 you can do 1/2n^2
