Yeah, some breeders do charge that much but I found some good ones

I'm either going to try my luck with some big northern breeds and then try out a wolf dog, or get a belgian Malinois and start working with some working dogs

I just want a German Shepherd or two.

I really want a wolf dog but they take a LOT of time, resources, and energy. Even the low content ones are nothing like dogs so you have to do everything right or somebody gets hurt

A Malinois on the other hand is almost as much work. I want a lower drive one but they still take a hell of a lot.

Malinois are just too aggressive and energetic for my needs.

They are defiantly a lot of dog. I personally love the higher drive dogs but the point I'm at in my life rn is this. Either I'm going to start working with northern breeds and open up a breed specifics rescue, or I'm getting into mals and working dogs and will open up a kennel. I just need to get some experience with both and see what I like better. If Im getting a mal it's going to be a pocket one though! Still a fuck ton of dog!
