We support the military, but if we have a militia we will be shut down too fast. We don't want to incite violence. I understand that we will protect and fight if necessary, but it is too risky.

The only thing that I think would warrant that would be if either the entire military turned on the people (Which couldn't happen as it would be family attacking family) or if a foreign invasion (also unlikely)
