I was checking zillow for home prices in different states. In Texas, I can get a 2300 sq ft home with 4 beds and 2 baths for a quarter mil

That same home in CA would be upwards of $1.2 mil

the fucking mortgage in TX is cheaper than rent in CA

That same home in the bay area is easily $5MM and would likely get torn down and have two or three mini homes built on the lot.

@Xychotic whats insane is that those homes are like, 50 or 60 years old and are going for double or triple what they would go for out of state
