@Kled Does the Charizard have a shadow on the bottom right of its portrait?
I can't entirely tell from the picture, although Im no expert
nah no shadowless stuff
no crazy shit
still thats some solid coin if you sent them to get graded imo
my delta species charizard has a print roller line right through the middle, feelsbadman
condition looks solid
i did a very basic appraisal and if i sold everything at moderately played id probably fetch like 4k
but if i got a few graded things would get nuts, i dont think there would be any 10s in here but MAYBE a few 9s
I think thats a bit of a stretch, a non holo base set charizard is like $100-150 right?
the one i got is holo legendary collection
Grading is always worth it imo
true, i dont think id sell anything even if they were 9s or 10 except for like one or two cards
Its $20 a pop and with base set stuff pretty much anything at a 9-10 covers it
At the very least, get the Charizards sent out
although right now ETA is looking like 4 months return
i still remember when i pulled that blaines charizard i was hyphied up
Just for liquidity purposes, the Charizard at worst will be eaiser to move in a slab, let alone it actually going up in value too
true true
thats dope, most of my cards are ~2007
ive had these for like 20 years i dont plan on ever selling but i do agree about getting some graded
ever since pokemon cards have gotten big recently I've been playing pokemon go like a degen
like the shining celebi and kabutops and the charizards
I collect sports cards predominately, so I kinda love seeing stuff in slabs
and also I always worry Ill damage the condition of something by keeping it raw
oh, baseball? or anything
i just have these pokemon cards and im buying MTG cuz i play a lot of edh with my friends
Mostly baseball, but I slightly dabble in basketball and football to a much lesser extent
apparently there has been a surge in football and basketball recently
kind of the same time with the pokemon shit
some youtuber must have done something
cuz ik pokemon unboxings are all over twitch now
cant go a day without seeing someone opening up an og box
Football and basketball has been on the rise big time since around March once covid hit
although it was already on the rise for like 2019, covid just made the "markets" explode
For the past like 6 months it was pretty much impossible to get any brand of any sport at Target. For baseball its a bit easier currently since the products are junkier this time of year, but basketball/football is still impossible to find
and also pretty much any basketball product on the shelf is immediately worth x3 its purchase price, so theres lots of scalpers
I rip pokemon every now and then just out of wanting to rip something lol. I dont like that the only thing worth anything is pretty much Charizard
yeah my friend is a scalper
and yeah pokemon cards are pretty much like some MTG sets
theres the lottery card youre looking for
