I keep seeing these jokes and memes online about "Waiting for 2020 to end" or "I can't wait for 2020 to be over". I don't get it. They aren't funny and don't make sense. Is there something magical that is supposed to happen tonight when we go to bed that is going to make tomorrow different in any way from today?

@helen. Lin Wood was the attorney who sued CNN for Nick Sandman, the kid who wore the MAGA hat in front of the supposed Native American elder and the news said Sandman instigated the whole thing but him and his friends did nothing.
