i mean, COVID is definitely real. It's just not a real threat to people. But going around saying that COVID isn't real just hurts our credibility and makes us look dumb.

I agree with most of that. And i think we generally agree in principal. However, I do think COVID is its own unique version of the flu. Like there is influenza A,B, etc. COVID is just another one of those. Its a real thing with it's own uniqueness, but it isnt a deadly virus and isnt what is killing people. I think we are basically saying the same thing. COVID is just the flu.
