Children of Darkness are the natural predators of mankind.
There is a foretold apocalypse, called the "Rising", whereupon the Sun will be destroyed and the earth will be transformed black and terrible. Children of Darkness will usher this aeon in using special magics, and will be rewarded with their true monstrous and immortal forms upon the completion of this task. This Rising will purify the world which humanity has poisoned and turned on end.
