Well while growing up, the kids that smelled usually showered once a day before they slept. I would add in they also adhered to their cultural cuisine which would explain them smelling upon sweating.

The kids would also wear the same outfit back to back days

Im going to just assume that if they’re wearing the same shirt and pants, they’re also wearing the same pair of socks and underwear which would also increase their odor

I have encountered some Indians, I think this was was Sikh, that invariably smelled like fresh laundry and soap.

I think the kids were just spoiled

A few mexicans are the same, but with a certain brand of soap that is only sold in mexican markets.
