Whore himself out on the street giving 20 dollar handies
That escalated quickly
What do I plan on doing?
I remember getting out of highschool. It was fucking euphoric.
Whatever comes up. I'll pursue my passion projects and work whatever job I can find that pays well enough
The simple things in life are all that matter
Noice try indeed I've gotten some great jobs from there one time I got a carpenter job by telling the dude I used to work with my dad framing houses even tho I only helped him with like 2 houses 😂 but I exaggerated and got a good job for a bit
Paying the rent on time, eating some chicken for dinner, listening to some music you like...
Money and success is what matters most to me.
Nothing says happiness like being able to not fret over how many dollars you'll have at the end of the month.
I'm just pursuing my quixotic, and probably unrealistic, ideas of happiness.
I'm chasing my dreams, if you will.
I c wat u did ther
Quixotic, I just caught that one. <:lolz:480186121897377792>
lmao, I'm using quixotic in the literal sense
Ah
Not that badass M.O.O.N. song. lol
Chasing money and success is dangerous
who said I was doing that?
If you're an entertainer maybe.
If you're doing what I'm doing then it's just surefire and accomplishing, at the end of the day.
Success is relative
Something measured differently by every person
110k a year seems pretty universal.
1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
You believe youre a failure if you make less than that?
My idea of happiness is just making a few people happy, I guess.
I believe you'd be successful with that kind of pay. Not to say that you're a failure, but rather that you're undeniably a success.
Mm
30k a year with no family as a guy, in my opinion, is successful as well.
It's not really about financial success.
I just want to feel fulfilled
I'm tired as fuck, if you couldn't tell
Cybersecurity kills two birds with one stone for me, so I don't really lose.
@[chase dreams] fulfillment is alot like happiness imo
It comes and goes
I'm aware
I haven't felt fulfillment in a while. as edgy as that sounds
That's why you strive for accomplishment and not fulfillment. You can feel fulfilled after eating a whole pizza, but what did you accomplish? On the other hand, you can feel accomplished after having finally mastered your skill at playing guitar. One is fleeting, like you said, and the other is practical and ever lasting
Yes
