Last time I was at a career fair they companies we're going to pay for your license and exam and give you a sign on bonus on top of that it was crazy

With the company i will be working for, yes. They test your hair, not your follicle. That is if you look like a drug user. Those tests aren't cheap.

Nah i like my hair and beard the way it is. I ain't cutting it. It's time for me to take a break anyway. I'm spending too much money on my "habit" and it's starting to affect my life.

@Ronald McDonald if you're thinking of getting into trucking it really doesn't matter what company you do your sponsorship with. Just make sure you tell them you want a trainer that has at least a few years experience and isn't some owner operator hack just trying to make extra money by having a trainee on his truck. I know my trainer will teach me proper. But my uncle's trainer was a hack driver that only taught him the short cuts and cheats to driving. Not actually how to properly pilot the thing.

I know I'm just trying to get an entry level position so I can have the experience and then move to other places without going to school for it
