o.o
some material from later chapters is easier than the earlier chapters
what exactly are you learning in c++ at the moment? @Head Scribe Drayanor
He's programming his waifu as we speak
oh ya
We went from talking about super basic programs in chapter three, shit like declaring variables and casting to different data types and performing simple calculations. Then, she hosts an online session to discuss chapter 3's topics and goes straight to chapter 10 talking about if statements and OOP. Mind you I already have experience in this, but what the fuck is she on about?
you men on night mode hear about the guy in Canada who going to jail for defending himself in a home invasion?
That's a thing even in the states
oh
even in AZ
so you're i chapter 3 learning OOP?
i see the issue. OOP tends to b much latr
No no no
OOP comes in chapter 10, we're supposed to be discussing chapter three and she skipped 7 chapters in less than a week.
chapter jumping is normal. OOP that soon is not.
This teacher is bizarre as fuck
you men on night mode even know how to write a function yet?
She's never once talked about functions, and then she jumps straight into functions on week 2 before we even get some of the basics down.
do you glow in the dark CIA agents even know how to write an interrupt routine? :V
She hasn't even talked about if statements, and she's showing us projects *that have if statements in them*. Granted I know what an if statement is but what the actual fuck?
are you in a speed class?
or w/e it's called
It's an 8 week course because it's summer
alright
community college?
Still, she has a course schedule and nothing says OOP in week 2
yeah
that shit is abnormal
OOP is much later
in fact it's usually in a following course
Programming teacher
>she
I’ve found your problem
you're the teacher
do a better job
Just ask her what the shit is going on
I probably will
Here's what she has in chapter 3
whats the scheduling in the syllabus??
Input/Output
Chapter 3
Assignment: Complete 2 programs under the Programming Exercise section in the back of the chapter (pp. 180-184)—review the lab assignments in BlackBoard for a list of “eligible” exercises.
That's the time spent 6/12 to 6/19
what programming textbook is it?
