My Grandfather on my Mother's side would've been one of the Marines storming the beach. He probably would've been one of the countless casualties too. Dropping the bombs saved so many lives ironically. It was a horrible thing we had to do, but the alternatives would've been unimaginably worse.

People really tend to forget that it wasn't just the a bombings that made Japan surrender

Their navy was all but destroyed.
Firebombing of Tokyo.
Firebombings of other major cities.
US submarines sinking tens of thousands of tons of shipping *each month.*
The a bombs were just the final nail in the slaughter house coffin.

Any of those bombings wouldn't have been possible if we weren't in range to do so

Idk, I like about 10% of the anime that's out there.

theres some really good stuff thats more like actual shows, then theres some weird shit that is not okay.

I was scrolling through the website I use to watch anime and, there are so many shows, I probably only like 2% of them, lol.

I like anime but there's also a lot of weird stuff you'll find

I particularly like it for it's art style

Manga is difficult to draw and it has a distinct style
I call it "simplistic complexity" because it seems basic to draw until you try it yourself for the first time

A lot of animes in general also incorporate Japanese cultures and tradition into them which I think is cool

Die Hard most certainly is a Christmas movie. Any movie that makes you think of Christmas counts, and there's plenty of Christmas stuff throughout it.

Plus, there are guns and explosions. It's the perfect American Christmas movie, and only dirty commies would say otherwise, 😉
