What lies ahead? No one can tell you until it’s your time
probably darkness
eternal
but this life
this is real
this I can work with
Arcing back to my theory that Death is subjective, adapting itself to what your "soul" wants
Hmmm. 🤔
no reason to waste the time that I actually have, pondering about time that with >99.99999% I won't have.
This universe allows an infinity of possibilities, but you must work for them.
@Ironbard it takes weight off our shoulders, in that death is certain. So we should live our lives up as we see fit. For our time is short indeed
I think the worst would be to have regrets at the end of life
Aye, wasted potential, wrong choice, life ruined.
Having as few regrets as possible is ideal.
That is the crux of religions for me, they all speak of endless life - but the result is always certain death.
I live for life and for certainty.
Well.. I mean everyone has their own idea of what happens after death. Like I said, no one is right or wrong
I don’t believe in any kind of judgement or any of that.
Indeed it cannot be proven, as it is an impenetrable event horizon. But what a strange thing, to live ones life by way of the most unlikely scenarios conceivable.
I hope time isn’t linear, I’ve always wondered what it’d be like in antiquity. Toga-ing all day long and discussing philosophy and drinking lol
That time might re-emerge; time may not be circular, but fashion is often cyclic.
Would explain why history likes to repeat itself
it doesn't
@Ironbard when clownworld goes off a cliff and after the nuclear war, we just end up having a real-life Fallout society
History could also simply repeat itself, because we stubbornly refuse to learn from our mistakes.
Sadly true.
Occam's Razor, no reason to invoke the fundamentals of the universe - when simple human stupidity will suffice xD
i like Hitchen's razor
i shave widdit
oooh unknown, enlighten me .D
😎
dawww
If it can stated be without evidence, it can be dismissed without evidence basically.
I bought way too much during the steam summer sale, my wallet is crying hah
hmmmm
Hell, I ended a essay recapping the civil way with, and I shit you not, "That's my recap of the Civil War of 1860-1865. After that, the CSA rejoined the union and the reconstruction began. Many, many lives were lost in this long war. May America never forget this lesson told in blood. But c'mon, this is humanity we're talking about. If history teaches humanity anything, it's that we never learn." @Ironbard
That is a good one haku, I will remember it.
I have always wondered if when we die, we start back at zero and live the same life again but with the opportunity to make different choices.
@Rhunespire This one is, unnerving. A repeating hell, hmmmm, the only way to escape would be to avoid dying. Otherwise it resets.
