Fuck that shit
Yup
But ronin's point was that the actions of everyone involved demonstrate that everyone knew exactly what was going on.

Clearer evidence of "consent" could not be given.
The only reason this is rape is because of the hard age limit by law.
There's no such thing as consent within a certain age
So, ronin spits out the unrefined garbage claim of "not rape"
They cannot make an informed decision
So this is rape
If that is the real standard for the requirement of consent, there's a lot of adult contracts that should be overturned.
Including a lot of those ARM mortgages, student loans, and military service contracts.
That's just the guys fault for not reading it
He's an adult
Are... you in favor of eliminating the age of consent? Or at least lowering it? @Xychotic
A kid can't make an informed decision because he's a child
@nate112332 No, my argument is entirely hypothetical.
An adult can
You do not believe a child is capable of understanding the ramifications of his choices?
mike gravel made it to the dem debates
I think you do not have adequate respect for childrens' capacities.
When should someone be considered an adult?
Remember, this kid knew to put up a guard.
@Cat Wizard honestly, I think there should be a test
I have never met a child and don't think I ever will meet a child at the age of 13 who can make an informed decision about sexual interaction
I do, I was that kid. But protecting the child should be one of humanity's higher priorities
They know next to nothing
Many don't even know what it is at that age especially if they're sheltered
I have met grown ass adults that don't make informed decisions about sexual interaction.
We commonly call them blue pilled simps.
and cucks
Yes but adults can. My point is that children cannot
Adults have an opportunity
But children absolutely can.
I disagree
Then we can accept, hypotheticals.
For example, let it be an assumption that a child *has the capacity* to have sufficient understanding of the ramifications of an act.
How do we know if a given child has that ability? Really, only testing will make it work. But that test must happen before the act.
Because we can't trust a test in post unless the child is making the case that no harm was caused.
most kids are pretty dumb and easily susceptible to manipulation
