Seems giant bugs are a norm there
Lol
You should see the spiders
Bet they got dinosaur DNA in them mosquitos
Lol
I'll pass on the spiders
Australia exposed me to enough of them
Noppppeee
Not the Huntsman spider holding a Possum
Those Australian possums make for great pets btw
Had a bunch of friends that owned them
Both the Goliath and the Hunstman can be found in the USA
Oh dang
Where at?
I did find Tarantulas a few times while hiking in SC. But they were relatively small
Knew a guy from Alabama that had one nesting above is back porch
Oh hell no
He couldn't figure out where all the feather were coming from
Time to move back to New Zealand
The Hunstman can be found all over the SW, Hawaii, but i don't know about the east coast. They are pretty harmless to people, but could definitely eat a small dog, maybe a cat
Predominantly the huntsman feeds on field mice
When they burn the sugar cane fields, they temporarily move into the nearby towns
Their size is dependent on their food supply i believe
Well at least they're not like the ones from the Carboniferous period
Right
Thats a big pile of nope
Frickin falcon sized damselfly
Foot long roaches
Nope nope nope
Foot long roaches still exist
No lie
Hawaii has them
I don't mind roaches
They bite
And fly
Not very far
Bugs in general don't bother me
I dont mind spiders overly much, though when they get bigger than my shoe, I do tread carefully
