if she's american, then she never had a democracy to lose

2021-01-02 19:37:59 UTC

if they cared about their country then they would know. or if they cared enough to pay attention in class

2021-01-02 19:39:20 UTC

not the best example I can give but I will anyway but a canadian I knew years ago didnt even know who his prime minister was

2021-01-02 19:42:40 UTC

alot of the schools didn't teach civics even in the colleges for at least 20-30yrs

2021-01-02 19:43:19 UTC

so normal schools, public and some private and most colleges/uni didn't teach american civics in usa

2021-01-02 19:43:50 UTC

fortunately i had it before they started to pull out of the public school system

2021-01-02 19:44:18 UTC

and taught it to family and neighbors kids for yrs afterwards

2021-01-02 19:44:46 UTC

I would think they would at least mention its not a democracy

2021-01-02 19:46:42 UTC

when I was in highschool I never understood why people found us history hard even when the teacher made the tests all multple choice and easier than taking candy from a baby. I guess caring about your country or not really impacts it

2021-01-02 19:46:45 UTC

and old peanuts cartoon - they're not going to teach u how to over throw them

2021-01-02 19:47:57 UTC

when i took american history, it was normal tests...even had to do a paper on one of many subject points in history that influenced u the most growing up

2021-01-02 19:49:18 UTC

I had state, national and world history growing up. I also had a civics class every year.

2021-01-02 19:49:59 UTC

well with them uneducation the population about the truth of their past and their own gov(msm/local news calling this a democracy)....it kinda re-enforces the illusion they're in a democracy and not question the insane number of laws pushed against the ppl

2021-01-02 19:50:46 UTC

well i was raised in a dem controlled city

2021-01-02 19:51:09 UTC

and they didn't start pulling out the unamerican bs til after i left hs

2021-01-02 19:51:15 UTC

I dont live in the city but this place is still dem controlled

2021-01-02 19:51:36 UTC

Imagine learning about the Trail of Tears, yet being reminded that all the perpetrators died long ago, and that you shouldn't feel guilty, lol.

2021-01-02 19:51:55 UTC

b-b-but muh white guilt

2021-01-02 19:52:29 UTC

trail of tears was under dem controlled states prior to civil war...if that makes u feel any better

2021-01-02 19:53:08 UTC

imagine seriously paying indians or blacks reparations for what someone who probably isnt your ancestor did to blacks hundred of years ago

2021-01-02 19:53:30 UTC

well ...i heard oklahoma is paying the price now

2021-01-02 19:53:51 UTC

Then imagine leaving the Chinese out of the Reparations bill. They only built our railroads, lol

2021-01-02 19:54:56 UTC

most of their state is reservation land now because all the 'seized' land for their state capital and other shit...was never ratified by their citizens and gov over a century ago...it was assumed as state property

2021-01-02 19:55:26 UTC

it's been fixed...and now alot of ok residents have to decide who to pay the taxes to

2021-01-02 19:55:32 UTC

That actually got approved?

2021-01-02 19:55:43 UTC

I read about that months ago.

2021-01-02 19:56:15 UTC

ya...they got their ok land back for the reservation ...it's now under native american control

2021-01-02 19:56:43 UTC

So, can the farmers sue the Res if there's a drought?
