i think they are commenting on something regarding Trumps tax cuts made in 2017 that are set to expire in 2021 if he isnt re-elected president
tho from what we've heard from Biden, he is wanting to destroy those tax cuts before they are actually set to expire
Well, even if he did, it's complex.
Because for example, nordic countries have achieved a state in which there are few regulations and many incentives for investing, low unemployment, high wages, and due to that their high taxes are bearable.
So if the fiantial status of the American citizen has been much improved overall, even a raise in taxes could be tolerable.
But I would still like that they were kept low.
thing is, the way our corpate system is organized, you are penalized for trying to start a business or own a small one
because of how high the corporate tax level is
But America is known for it's favorable environment towards investment and business.
That's odd
The conclusion I'm taking is that it does well despite not being incentivised.
oh sure you can get an investment, but you still gotta pay that money back and aquires interest every year it isnt repaid so somethin about 70% of new businesses fail within their first 3 years
I see.
its even worse with the restaurant industry, because not only do you got investments to repay, property taxes to pay, and workers to keep paid, you are spending roughly millions of dollars every year keeping fresh stock to cook with for your customers
