2020-12-25 18:58:54 UTC

knowing when to speak and when not to speak is a good sign of intelligence and wisdom

2020-12-25 19:02:47 UTC

also knowing what to talk about in reference to the topic without looking like an idiot also helps

2020-12-25 19:04:05 UTC

Agreed, and?

2020-12-25 19:27:56 UTC

2020-12-25 19:28:14 UTC

People rising up?

2020-12-25 19:30:57 UTC

seems strange there was few shooting incidents in the area, then a 20-30min warning to evac the area before the bomb went off

2020-12-25 19:32:03 UTC

If it was terrorists it would have just gone off, so idk

2020-12-25 19:32:28 UTC

Shootings could be unrelated

2020-12-26 03:19:38 UTC

isn't "eye for and eye" the muslim way? Don't us in the West have a humane way to deal with this?

2020-12-26 03:21:02 UTC

come on guys *insert gif* we can't stoop to their level

2020-12-26 03:22:10 UTC

An eye for an eye stems from the babylonians who were way before Islam. But it was also adopted into western culture.

2020-12-26 03:23:00 UTC

It is used by utilitarnist

2020-12-26 03:23:10 UTC

I ain't Christian, though I believe in those moral truths. We have to keep to the high ground *insert obi wan gif*

2020-12-26 03:24:00 UTC

Well actually it's better to keep some morals out of law though. Or it imposes on personal freedom.

2020-12-26 03:24:10 UTC

But that's a philisophical discussion for another time.

2020-12-26 03:24:48 UTC

law is codified morals. Period. (or at least should be)
