Man gonna be honest at this moment I don't care
Like hey I'm 17 and I'm a virgin why should I give a shit about sex when there's more important shit out there
@ninni._.burninni what's the nature of the pair-bond though and how are people defining "marriage"? If people are not getting "married", but stick by each other, isn't that marriage? I'm starting to believe the government has no say whether I'm married or not.
The court system makes way too much money off of people divorcing.
I would completely understand why a man would never want to marry in 2020.
@Red Jasper I hear what you say about marriage in 2020. I think what the study shows is people devaluing the nuclear family when it comes to raising children in general.
In my own community, black people, you see what hell that has paved for decades. Now it's the complete opposite. Having a child is considered minor but getting married is a huge deal.
There's the article.
It says they believe it's not important to be "legally married".
I agree. The government should not have a say in marriage. It should a separation of church and state.
It doesn't state much of anything else.
Yup. The government just want to displace the role of the Church. And that's what lefties want.
I agree to the separation. Also family court is joke.
Family court is only good when I want to watch Paternity Court on Youtube.
marriage is important with kids though
plus people don't even bother with actually fighting for their marriages these days, they just give up when they get to a rough time instead of fighting for it. marriage via the church is "till death do us part", lifelong.
which people don't seem to care about anymore
Yeah i agree marriage is important for children, but it's definitely not the government's place.
Growing up in California, I've seen more women hurt their marraiges and families, than men have. I see men fight way hard for their families, but the court just isn't on their side and lawyers are money. They get bled dry.
In Nevada, perhaps it has changed in the last decade, men don't even have biological rights to their children.
It's already biased.
that sucks
from what i understand more men are fighting and winning custody so
been an upward trend for a while now
Yeah. Slowly, I have been seeing the shift too. And that's recent years because women have really tipped themselves off the loony horse. I see so many women doping themselves out with drugs and cheating on their husbands in the name of "empowerment".
where do you see them at
I'm in California.
makes sense. modern day sodom and gomorrah it seems like
cali would be what, sodom and new york would be gomorrah? or vice versa
I'm speeking from watching the men in my family and those around me
That salt pillar might show up soon.
it's wayyyyy too common.
oh so just in your families
so i'm not speaking in "statistics" from what i hear on the news
i see it first hand
it's almost everywhere
alrighty
A stable marriage here is a sigh of relief
gotta fight for that
