I know you weren’t asking me, but my CPU is an Intel i7 2700k, along with a mere 8gb of DDR3 RAM

2020-12-16 00:24:16 UTC

I’d love to ask for some RAM for Christmas but I’m holding out until I get a new motherboard.. and I don’t know how to get one that will fit. I also have a water cooling system, and my uncle (29) told me that I’d have to get a new CPU if I got a new motherboard. So all in all, I don’t have enough money and I’m starting to think I should just go ahead and upgrade my RAM now.

2020-12-16 00:35:18 UTC

I also wasn't asked, but why not lol, i5-3570, 32gb ddr3, GTX 275 + 15 fans to keep that sucker from melting down

2020-12-16 01:16:14 UTC

Would be nice lmao

2020-12-16 02:07:54 UTC

Ehhh fk it I wasn’t asked either.
Ryzen 5 3600
1660 Super
8gb DDR4, (will be 16 on Christmas Day),
4 fan fully air cooled hoping to get a Liquid CPU AIO soon though

2020-12-16 02:08:44 UTC

Good stuff

2020-12-16 02:12:06 UTC

Yeah

2020-12-16 02:14:20 UTC

I gotta ask, how big of a PSU do you have? Because 15 fans is quite a lot lmao

2020-12-16 02:14:30 UTC

I have a pretty similar setup
Ryzen 5 1600
8gb DDR4
4 fans

2020-12-16 02:14:39 UTC

Call me suicidal, but 380W

2020-12-16 02:14:44 UTC

its really high quality!

2020-12-16 02:14:58 UTC

That’s gotta be one seriously good PSU <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-16 02:15:09 UTC

theres 6 120mm fans, 2 200mm fans, and a bunch of tiny ones

2020-12-16 02:15:30 UTC

It's a platinum rated FSP unit, they make really good PSUs

2020-12-16 02:15:32 UTC

ChiefKirby what kind of GPU do you have

2020-12-16 02:16:29 UTC

If that lil thing is handling all that, I’d imagine so. Would love to know how much power those fans eat up

2020-12-16 02:16:38 UTC

And how massive your case is

2020-12-16 02:16:45 UTC

The fans are nothing compared to the gtx 275

2020-12-16 02:17:01 UTC

Not familiar with the 275

2020-12-16 02:17:10 UTC

Its an Antec Nine Hundred, but i modded the side panel to fit an extra 200mm fan

2020-12-16 02:17:23 UTC

Its rated for 216W but uses more

2020-12-16 02:17:56 UTC

it was the 2nd highest end gpu of nvidias 200 series

2020-12-16 02:18:04 UTC

VERY old

2020-12-16 02:18:15 UTC

Okay, I’ve been trying to resist asking but I have to at this point because the curiosity is killing me. Got a picture?

2020-12-16 02:18:43 UTC

the cable management is so bad i refuse to post it

2020-12-16 02:18:59 UTC

i will clean it up when i upgrade this christmas lol

2020-12-16 02:19:22 UTC

having 5 drives doesnt help either

2020-12-16 02:19:34 UTC

I have a Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 2 GB

2020-12-16 02:19:34 UTC

Idc lol I’m not a PC mAsTeR rAcE guy who judges everything on the cables

2020-12-16 02:20:04 UTC

Trust me I have a pre built I can’t judge

2020-12-16 02:20:21 UTC

My cables are also trash

2020-12-16 02:20:47 UTC

I debate going through and reorganizing but am planning to wait until I have a reason

2020-12-16 02:21:15 UTC

i will make it look a lot better and probably ditch some of the fans when i upgrade, i just have thesebecause the 275 puts out so much heat

2020-12-16 02:21:48 UTC

What temps does it get too

2020-12-16 02:22:02 UTC

83 C easily with 60% fan speed

2020-12-16 02:22:10 UTC

Jeez

2020-12-16 02:22:28 UTC

with max fan speed plus a overclock it goes to 88C while being nearly as loud as a leafblower

2020-12-16 02:22:48 UTC

I get anxious when my GPU hits 71 lmao I couldn’t handle that 😂

2020-12-16 02:23:14 UTC

i think its starting to die too because its being unstable in GTA V even when its not overclocked

2020-12-16 02:23:26 UTC

so i will be replacing it soon, otherwise i probably would have stuck with it lol
