Just used some hard earned money to treat myself to a HomePod mini, it’s great and I recommend it

Whenever possible, I recommend going this route

Gives you a way better understanding of how it all gets put together and when stuff eventually breaks you'll have a better idea of how to fix it

This is my first printer I put together 8 years ago

That being said though, if you want to just hit the ground printing economically, the ender 3 is really hard to beat. That printer costs me ~$800 to source whereas I picked up the ender 3 for less than $250

2020-12-23 01:44:28 UTC

Wow...

2020-12-23 01:46:47 UTC

I just tested my little Emerson TV. It doesn't work with my Atari 600XL, but it does work with my composite to RF switch box. I wonder what's up?

2020-12-23 01:47:41 UTC

The Atari does just fine with the Zenith 9'' CRT.

2020-12-23 01:49:35 UTC

I don't want to open up the Emerson... I tried to recap my Sega Game Gear and that didn't go well...

2020-12-23 01:50:06 UTC

The Game Gear still turns on but it's still not working...

2020-12-23 01:50:49 UTC

What ever it is it's beyond my electrical skill...

2020-12-23 01:51:23 UTC

All I can really work on well is toy trains...

2020-12-23 01:52:20 UTC

Every time I try to work on anything with a PCB it usually doesn't go well...

2020-12-23 01:52:55 UTC

Unless it one of those RadioShack style kits.

2020-12-23 02:08:36 UTC

This cost me about 20 bucks altogether

2020-12-23 02:42:25 UTC

Nice!

2020-12-23 03:31:47 UTC

I got a sony 5.1 amp with speakers for 30$, but holy crap that thing puts off a lot of heat

2020-12-23 03:31:56 UTC

it draws like 200W sitting there doing nothing

2020-12-23 03:32:38 UTC

at least it is winter so its basicly "free" heating

2020-12-23 03:36:32 UTC

Yeah I'm just stacking DC players on top each other

2020-12-23 03:37:32 UTC

and then i got a 100-150w laptop + an old pc drawing 500w, so VERY warm room

2020-12-23 03:37:45 UTC

And connecting them to the insanity called my speaker system

2020-12-23 03:54:23 UTC

I got an 8-track stereo cassette player last week!

2020-12-23 04:10:57 UTC

nice!

2020-12-23 04:32:48 UTC

8 track

2020-12-23 04:33:19 UTC

I know a place that sells a lot of 8 track cassettes

2020-12-23 05:24:32 UTC

I'm too young for 8 tracks

2020-12-23 05:24:42 UTC

Goodwill?

2020-12-23 05:25:16 UTC

Are they making a come back like vinyls?

2020-12-23 05:28:59 UTC

I don't know? All I know was that the local Goodwill store used to have a good few 8-tracks but I never got any because I didn't have the player. I found the player at a Savers Super Thrift and I was pretty excited to play those funny cassettes, but when I went back to Goodwill they didn't have any...

2020-12-23 05:30:16 UTC

I looked and looked but all I came home with was a DuleShock2...

2020-12-23 17:37:43 UTC

I think 8 tracks are dumb xD

2020-12-23 17:37:52 UTC

Vinyl sounds so much better
