VPN? Not one that works. I just stuck with rdp’ing to my home computer and accessing restricted sites that way

I gotta a question for you guys. So I got a new mic, but it is a passive mic (doesn't use phantom power) so it has to be boosted. I have been using a compressor to boost it in my DAW, but I can't use the mic for chatting in a vc b/c I cant figure out how to put a compressor on it in discord. Any advice?

my signal chain is a Shure sm58 -> fifteen foot xlr cable -> focuserite 2i2 -> usb cable from 2i2 to computer

cat 5 is enough, unless you are running an EXTREMELY long run

For the ehternet thats only gigabit on the consoles at least

higher categories are for very long runs or higher speeds, which consoles do not and cannot support

But it makes you feel better you can use cat 6, its really cheap

i would go for cat 6, just to guarrentee you have good signal at all times, and it barely costs more
