The scouts slowly became pussified over the years. Camping trips went from wilderness hikes to someone's backyard to at the local church. I was there during all 3 phases. Its sad. Now boys arent boys, girls arent girls, and meat isnt meat....

Same man went through all three myself

Even earned eagle but now the organization is just really bad

As a scout I can say thes is somewhat accurate we still go on hikes and stuff but other than that

Eagle Scout as of January this year. Scouting has taught me many things but with the direction they've gone I can't support them anymore. Neither could my church which is one of the reasons they're failing so bad <:KEK:726877368601411624>

i kinda wanna start preparing for crazy shit happening but this stuff seems a little overwhelming

i get the feeling i personally wouldn't be able to organize stuff like this effectively or prepare correctly RIP

@Innocentsmith S.C.A don't let it overwhelm you. Just start with basics. Food, water, shelter, protection. You don't have to have a years worth of preps right now but anything is better than nothing

When you next go to the store, pick a category, and spend $10 extra dollars on it. Like, buy an extra canned chicken, etc. You'll get storage in no time!

Remember to buy storage for what you actually eat

I met my husband at scout camp, did scoutreach in the inner cities, did 10 seasons of camp. Boys need men to teach them to be men. It's really sad what this country has done to the program
