If you take a gun, make sure you can hide it. There's a high chance that wherever you're going, they're banned on campus (e.g., Purdue, where I am).

I don't have one because it's a little hard to get a gun into a frat house or residence hall. Once I move out and buy my own house, I'll probably buy a few.

@Kaladin problem is I can't carry a gun until I am 21 at the even the most free campuses in the country. besides, I still like to have cutting tools purely for utility.

I'm not looking to spend 15 years in jail because I got caught carrying a gun illegally. its a shame, but I'll take my chances with a ballistic panel and a blunt object. :\

ye. ngl, I have had kids ask me at school if I carry because they heard I moved here from TX. I wouldn't put it past them to falsely report me just because many know I am pro life and they hate me for it. for whatever reason, if a student or teacher reports me for any reason, I have to turn my bag over for inspection. No way in hell will you catch me with any contraband if I am at school or college. :\

I did a sort of med-camp thing at UNC Chapel hill last summer. Some girl got in a bunch of trouble because she had a sewing cut with a tiny pair of scissors in it. She got the whole damn thing confiscated and they nearly sent her home because it was "a dangerous and sharp object." xD

But if youre looking for a neck knife id sugest the spew super easy to carry and hard to see

Personally, I'm not a fan of hanging stuff on my neck. I generally like to just carry a good defense knife (where legal) in my right pocket. in my left front or right rear pocket, I often carry a box cutter or utility knife, esp. if I am work. Seems to work well imo.

I usually carry about 4 or 5 knives
