This song makes me feel of how I feel about the fate of man kind https://youtu.be/-C-HytsGYg0

It's a beautiful song bro. honestly, I was trying to follow the lyrics, but I keep getting lost in the instrumentals. funny how that happens sometimes xD

2020-12-06 01:28:01 UTC

I'm absolutely in love with tremonti's tone. 🥰

how you liking the C-1? looking to get another axe soon I keep flipping between the Shechter c-1 plat or maybe a Jackson Kexq leaning more too the Shecter because i already have 3 other Floyd rose guitars and kexq has the floyd special on it.... been a long time since ive played a tune o matic bridge

2020-12-06 03:05:20 UTC

bro I love my c-1! It's got emg 81/85s for pick ups, so its super tight when playing rythm with lots of gain. Sounds good for lead stuff too. some guys think emgs dont have a whole lot of "character," but I think they sound great. ofc you can get passive pickups on the C-1 aswell, with some models even having the famous sustaniac pickup in the front.

2020-12-06 03:05:43 UTC

I'll get a pick of my C-1 reall quick, cuz i want to show you something pretty cool about it.

the neck on this tapers into the body so nicely. I didn't see anything else in this price range (6-800) that had a neck like this.

2020-12-06 03:09:23 UTC

Jacksons are good too I hear, but i have never played one :/

2020-12-06 03:18:44 UTC

thanks for this i dont have a guitar store near to try one so im just trolling reviews right now and this caught my eye . i really like the style and the cut outs.... Emg's are definitly one of the factors that has me leaning to the C-1 rather than the Jackson Kelly it comes with decent jackson pickups but still the floyd rose special

2020-12-06 03:19:16 UTC

can be trash but its a kelly for under 800 lol

2020-12-06 03:19:58 UTC

honestly, i feel like 800 gets your a pretty solid axe from either company, but I can vouch for schecter as I have one.

2020-12-06 03:20:11 UTC

gl making a descion!

2020-12-06 03:20:18 UTC

TY

2020-12-06 03:20:57 UTC

hey, btw, look for sales. My guitar retails for like 800 but I picked it up for 6.

2020-12-06 03:21:03 UTC

ive had countless esp and ibenez figure its time to change haha

2020-12-06 03:21:31 UTC

ha nice. I was so close to buying an ibanez, but I thought the nexts were too slim xD

2020-12-06 03:21:38 UTC

necks*

2020-12-06 03:25:00 UTC

my last Ibanez was that my last one ever.... spent 800 on a new fanned fret 7 string supposed to come with solderless EMG well it came with EMGs soldered to a bunch of passive pots and the jack was not even stereo LOL couldn't even trust them to fix it because it came back after i sent it back with the same jack XD ripped out the guts and put some nazgouls in now it shreds

2020-12-06 03:25:20 UTC

the wizard II neck though is still one of my favs to play

2020-12-06 03:26:31 UTC

jeez, that sucks.

2020-12-06 03:26:43 UTC

I hate it when people jack up electronics

2020-12-06 03:28:04 UTC

I have thought about maybe looking for a better jack and paying someone to install in it my Schechter cause it has a bit of play, but nothing that affects the sound quality.

2020-12-06 03:28:21 UTC

that really is the one thing I dont like about it though

2020-12-06 03:33:09 UTC

actually, im an idiot. the jack has play cause the damn bolt is loose xD

2020-12-06 03:33:29 UTC

Heh

2020-12-06 03:36:25 UTC

how was it out of the box need to do much intonation ,sting action hight adjustments? i have heard the horror storys of fret buzz from shecters but Im used to buzzing tuning down to C or A on seven

2020-12-06 03:37:06 UTC

so i will be doing a full set up anyway just curious

2020-12-06 03:41:49 UTC

the action height was spot on. truss rod was good too. I think the intonation was close too and the fret buzz wasnt so bad out of the box. more just the strings slapping against the fretboard itself because the stock strings were super light. <:KEK:726877368601411624> I got some thicker strings now (size 12 bronze phosphor) that buzz a good bit from drop b on, but I think its just the strings more than anything. Bronze phosphor has a beautifully rich tone, but they tend to buzz more *ime*. The low action probably contributes somewhat, but I think its a non-issue if you run thick enough strings for your current tuning.

2020-12-06 03:41:51 UTC

hope this helps

2020-12-06 03:43:29 UTC

and ofc, if you can, try the guitar out it person. They were going to try selling me a demo guitar that was in pretty bad shape. I said hell no and asked if they had another one in their inventory. They brought one out, I checked it over and tried it, and left with solid piece of equipment.

2020-12-06 03:43:57 UTC

tbf, it was just some young guy at a guitar center, so I dont fault the store for trying to rip me off, but ye

2020-12-06 03:49:08 UTC

haha never take home the demo with out a killer deal XD my friend did that i made him go back and get a new one since he payed the new price and the demo was sitting out for like a year he was new to guitars at the time so innocent lol got my first ESP off the wall at guitar center got 150 off because it already had buckle rash XD
