I think the only real strength they have right now is economic power over woke US corporations

the only Advatage China would have is a surprise attack against the US, which would temporarily hamper us long enough for them to take key locations to sustain themselves

just like Japan did

they know the threat of the US navy, so their fist action against us would be to have subs positioned right behind all of our fleets and destroy or damage them when given the call, it would essentially be a Pearl Harbor except we dont have all of our eggs in one basket this time

and in this chaos they would hit a few places, first Taiwan and then maybe Korea, followed by hitting India and by their hopes all before we can repair and build new ships for a counter attack

and with the new resources they would have available after taking these territories, they would try and build up a real combat navy to go toe to toe with the US

and with taking places like Korea, they would also have access to some gen 4 tanks, like the K1A1 and the K1A2

both of which are heavily based off of the Abrams tank which means that they would have something to either easily counter the US armor, or develop a better tank themselves to tango with the american armor

and if they deiced to hit Japan, then they would hace access to another gen 4 tank, the Type 10
