So iv just had an idea
What if when China does their attack on the US by taking out manifactoring and ship building factories on the west coast, they make an attack on the Panama Canal? If they did that and destroyed the Canal, they would basically cut off all our forces located in the Atlantic that would move to support the pacific fleet after it comes under attack
