its simple, creating a skirmish at the Indian border and losing further drives the apearence and distracts from other things they are doing

Their best tank (Type-99) has 400mm of Turret Armor and 260mm of Hull armor, ERA bumps that to 725mm

Our M1A2 can punch through with 831mm of penetration

in the age of Tank warfare, armor has become fairly irrelivent as armor has not been able to keep up with the rapidly advancing ballistics tech of Sabots

alright then, so if they have tech we don't then we do the next best thing, We strike their industrial capabilities with accurate high density bombing runs and cripple their industries
