Aw damn it

2020-11-16 13:44:45 UTC

Yea when I see them they gonna be flying supers

2020-11-16 13:44:54 UTC

the A frame is much more agile than the E's

2020-11-16 13:45:23 UTC

Why not go with f35s 🤣 🤣 🤣

2020-11-16 13:45:40 UTC

they're going to have to train up hard, because E's are much heavier and have a larger wingspan

2020-11-16 13:45:59 UTC

> Why not go with f35s 🤣 🤣 🤣
@Identity crisis the plane Probably somewhere around 2050?

2020-11-16 13:46:17 UTC

Why not have a bunch of f35s do cobras in formation at once

2020-11-16 13:47:45 UTC

> Why not have a bunch of f35s do cobras in formation at once
@Identity crisis the plane They'd have to be C variants, the wings span will help with that and also, it is a FAAAAAAR more expensive plane as well as also being not an expired plane yet

2020-11-16 13:48:05 UTC

What is the price of one f35

2020-11-16 13:48:48 UTC

F-35A 77.8million

2020-11-16 13:49:06 UTC

That's not as much as the f16v

2020-11-16 13:49:18 UTC

F16v is 121m

2020-11-16 13:49:34 UTC

F-35B 101.3million

2020-11-16 13:49:53 UTC

The b is the most technically complicated one

2020-11-16 13:50:04 UTC

F-35C 94.4million

2020-11-16 13:50:13 UTC

C is the Carrier variant

2020-11-16 13:50:19 UTC

I know

2020-11-16 13:50:37 UTC

and one that the Navy doesn't want because it doesn't have 2 engines

2020-11-16 13:51:14 UTC

Why doesn't the navy like single engine

2020-11-16 13:51:33 UTC

I mean, I get it that you don't have a back up engine in case of a flame out and the project was backed up by supply and bugs, but its still a damn fine plane

2020-11-16 13:51:47 UTC

F35 gets too much shit

2020-11-16 13:52:24 UTC

> Why doesn't the navy like single engine
@Identity crisis the plane Security reasons, in the event of a flame out, you still have 1 engine to propel you home

2020-11-16 13:53:05 UTC

> F35 gets too much shit
@Identity crisis the plane Tell that to the reformers, they literally made fake news about the plane in order to prevent export buyers

2020-11-16 13:53:27 UTC

Why not just convert the yf23 into a carrier aircraft

> Why not just convert the yf23 into a carrier aircraft
@Identity crisis the plane YF23 is prohibitly expensive to maintain, its exhaust silica tiles are millions as well as the stealth paint

2020-11-16 13:57:03 UTC

The yf23 was killed by politics, the original plan was that since the f22 won the contest, the yf23 would be naval, but politicians cancelled that

2020-11-16 13:57:53 UTC

But the YF23 also had a lot of fees to consider and the fact that YF23 didn't do any weapons testing made F-22 more appealing

2020-11-16 13:58:37 UTC

The yf23 still is an amazing aircraft on par or superior to the yf22

2020-11-16 13:58:37 UTC

plus consider the fact that F-22 doesn't use Silica tiles to hide its exhaust signature

2020-11-16 13:59:11 UTC

> The yf23 still is an amazing aircraft on par or superior to the yf22
@Identity crisis the plane Maybe more agile, but more expensive and hangar queen to maintain

2020-11-16 13:59:21 UTC

The f22 was more agile actually

2020-11-16 13:59:35 UTC

F22 had thrust vectoring and was smaller

2020-11-16 13:59:36 UTC

Heard the other way around

2020-11-16 13:59:36 UTC

Yess the 55.86 is a Majical machine

2020-11-16 14:00:02 UTC

The yf23 was stealthier, faster and had better range but wasn't as agile

2020-11-16 14:00:35 UTC

"better range"<:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-11-16 14:00:48 UTC

Have you heard of Super cruise?

2020-11-16 14:01:01 UTC

Yf23 and yf22 had supercruise

2020-11-16 14:01:30 UTC

Yf23 supercruise is faster than f16 on full afterburner
