you know

2020-11-20 18:40:19 UTC

I was gonna say, they can have it. As much as I like the looks of the f35, it's a coffin at times.

2020-11-20 20:14:26 UTC

Imo the F-35 could (and should) relay information on dangerous areas to aircraft like the A-10. The F-35 could wipe out the sophisticated systems and let the A-10 mop up what's left. BRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTT

I heard that the J-31 is a twin engine, so it is not a 1:1 rip off, it is lighter and better in some aspects

2020-11-21 22:42:34 UTC

Though I wish Japan would make its ATD-X project

2020-11-21 22:42:47 UTC

That Shinshin looks amazing

2020-11-21 22:50:46 UTC

Not a 1:1 in that aspect, but just avout everything else is a direct copy, minus the tape that almost killed a J-31 on its first public run

Anyone serve in the navy? Jw I’m about to go to meps for aircrew

2020-11-22 19:53:20 UTC

My Papa (grandfather) was in WW2 as a naval officer in the south pacific. He served on the USS Reno, an anti aircraft ship, firing the large machine guns on deck. He lost his hearing in his 20's. He was drafted just as he turned 18, and never finished high school. He came out of the war and went straight to college, graduating with a BOS. He was a wonderful man. He was scarred from war though. He wouldn't talk about what happened to anyone. He would just say it was hell on earth. I can't help but wonder how degusted he would be at the weak whiney males of today's generation, the protesting and sheer idiocy. He was raised back when men had no choice but to be men. How far we have fallen. Thank you to all our military for standing up and serving our country <:AmericanFlag:720120797837918288> <:salut:730846445732888630>

2020-11-22 20:25:55 UTC

By large machine guns you do mean browning machine guns, right?

2020-11-22 20:30:18 UTC

Thank you, and your dad for your family's service to this country.

2020-11-22 20:32:22 UTC

oop Papa was my Grandad. I am sorry not to have clarified! I am very proud of him. He has passed away but He isn't forgotten <:AmericanFlag:720120797837918288> ❀️

2020-11-22 20:32:39 UTC

there I fixed it πŸ™‚

2020-11-22 20:33:37 UTC

Oh, well thank you for your grandpa's service, we'll be thankful for his bravery, for what he has done for the country.

2020-11-22 20:38:16 UTC

I am not positive, he always referred to them as "large machine guns" and I cannot for the life of me find out which ones on the ship he shot. There were multiple sizes, I believe.

2020-11-22 20:41:14 UTC

these were the guns on board supposedly "twelve 12.7cm 5-inch/38 caliber guns in six twin mounts, 16 x 40mm guns, 16 x 20mm guns, eight torpedo tubes"
