well not exactly, if the tank is positioned right the round will either just get stuck in the armor and not damange anything internal or bounce off completely

its why most modern tanks feature alot of angles, so that enemy rounds either bounce off or get stuck without damanging the internals

unless its something Russian, then fully circular turrets are all you got, which in todays modern tech is pretty much useless except against chemical charge rounds

and Russia's been failin pretty badly at getting a reliable and somewhat managebale expensed new tank into production so its gonna be a while till the seeds of the Armata actually do anything
