Wish I knew who bought the rifle from the shop I sold it to, he closed for business middle of this covid thing

2020-07-13 15:36:21 UTC

Put em on like Craigslist or something

2020-07-13 15:36:30 UTC

Or try to sell them to a pawn shop

2020-07-13 15:36:53 UTC

🤷‍♂️

2020-07-13 15:37:24 UTC

Not sure I can sell em to a pawn shop tbh.. unless the owner needs the ammo. Is 17 still about
.25 a rd

2020-07-13 15:37:47 UTC

Like 13 bucks for a box of 50

2020-07-13 15:38:06 UTC

About .25

2020-07-13 15:38:24 UTC

I think

2020-07-13 15:38:51 UTC

Ok at least that's a starting point, might try craigslist or something

2020-07-13 15:39:53 UTC

Yea

2020-07-13 15:40:07 UTC

You said their cci vmax

2020-07-13 15:41:12 UTC

About 1500 rd of hmr and 500 or so of hornet

2020-07-13 15:41:24 UTC

All vmax ammo

2020-07-13 15:41:30 UTC

Nice

2020-07-13 15:43:22 UTC

And sort of kicked myself for this one because the price went up on it but I sold his cooper on a trade for a rifle i no longer have and 2k in 5.56

2020-07-13 15:44:28 UTC

I ended up with a mid length m4 I really like from del-ton

2020-07-13 15:45:40 UTC

But if I can offload this ammo, I'll be able to get the upper I want for my ar15 chambered in .224 valkyrie

2020-07-13 15:48:56 UTC

225 valkyrie is a mean round

2020-07-13 15:49:03 UTC

224

2020-07-13 18:33:14 UTC

i'm finding conflicting information on this, does anyone know which type of steel is best for an AR-15 bolt: Carpenter 158 or 9310?

2020-07-13 18:45:30 UTC
2020-07-13 18:53:00 UTC

I dont lnowanything about ars

2020-07-13 20:50:06 UTC

I want my vepr 12 but everyone is out of em :(

2020-07-13 21:05:28 UTC

@110100100 9310 is better. If you can find one made of 8260 get it.

2020-07-13 21:06:03 UTC

The only gun I need is one to stop the dems

2020-07-13 21:20:42 UTC

@Ironman which properties of 8260 make it superior to the other 2 considering it's yield and tensile strength are so much less?

2020-07-13 22:13:17 UTC

Shock resistance.

2020-07-13 22:13:48 UTC

Its not a slow buildup of pressure. Its an instant "boom!"

2020-07-13 22:14:17 UTC

There are better steels but it really depends on how much you want to pay.

2020-07-13 22:46:38 UTC

4340 is the industry standard in gun parts. 4340 isnt very hard though and wears quickly. The original colt 1911s were very soft and many showed severe wear after a couple thousand rounds.

This is a life goal right here.
