Call it **GOCRAZYPEW**

2020-10-09 18:04:00 UTC

Only thing is I've been trying to find these for months now and I REALLY want to go shred some paper

2020-10-09 18:05:18 UTC

For sure scrapeing the bottom of my 1500r drum 😭

2020-10-09 18:05:31 UTC

For 9mm

2020-10-09 18:09:06 UTC

I hate you

@GoCRAZY my buddy runs 123gr through his 6.5. He does well with the rifle length gas tube and an off the shelf 5.56 buffer spring. Twist rate on his is 1 in 8. There really is no such thing as "over twist". The lighter bullets need to spin faster to stabilize than heavier. Once a certain spin is made per given weight its golden. Anything more doesnt hurt.

@Aperfectghost You are 100% correct. I dont know everything. I learn every day with every gun that makes it into my hand. Hell glocks are even changing year to year so much I almost need to take a class on the new generations coming out.

2020-10-09 18:45:19 UTC

Yea I got to go to a refresher course on glocks to, I had just gotten my glock cert. a year ago@Ironman

2020-10-09 19:02:55 UTC

Thanks Ironman that answered my question perfectly

2020-10-09 19:06:16 UTC

I'm probably going to grab the geissele rifle length spring a bit quieter than the flat springs and more durable, and not too expensive

2020-10-09 19:36:46 UTC

I got your backs guys. I need you and your weapons to be in tip top shape. Something evil this way comes.

2020-10-09 19:43:35 UTC

I'm not too far @Ironman just in Illinois

2020-10-09 20:02:21 UTC

my friend who just got into reloading bullets, tried reloading for the first time but because he doesn't get how grains work, he just filled the entire casing with powder and called it a day

2020-10-09 20:06:37 UTC

basically he made the assumption that a bullet grain number is how many grains of gunpowder go into the bullet

2020-10-09 20:09:44 UTC

@ThiccSpicyGenderRevealParty in all fairness, I was thinking the same thing until I was informed that it referred to the bullet weight in grains

2020-10-09 20:10:04 UTC

I haven't even touched a gun yet.

2020-10-09 20:11:10 UTC

hmm

2020-10-09 20:11:19 UTC

i don't think he's tried firing it yet

2020-10-09 20:11:53 UTC

because i haven't received any notifications about him dying or something

2020-10-09 20:18:38 UTC

I nominate that we include a new category dubbed,"To You Europeans."

2020-10-09 20:18:54 UTC

I support this notion

2020-10-09 20:19:26 UTC

Any ranges near by? To go with somebody @Erby...if the RO is nice enough, ask about the does/don'ts of the range or ask for a class

2020-10-09 20:20:16 UTC

The Codex supports this action

2020-10-09 20:21:35 UTC

@Aperfectghost I can head to a gun range but I need to go through a background check before I can essentially handle a firearm.

2020-10-09 20:22:09 UTC

oof

2020-10-09 20:31:03 UTC

That SUCKs, What state do live in

2020-10-09 20:31:53 UTC

2020-10-09 20:32:06 UTC

> my friend who just got into reloading bullets, tried reloading for the first time but because he doesn't get how grains work, he just filled the entire casing with powder and called it a day
@ThiccSpicyGenderRevealParty did he he fire squib loads before he figured it out?

2020-10-09 20:37:55 UTC

no

2020-10-09 20:38:13 UTC

he put 150 grains of powder in a 150 grain 308 round

2020-10-09 20:38:25 UTC

i don't think he's tried firing it yet

2020-10-09 20:38:58 UTC

but i haven't been informed about him dying or anything so i assume he's still alive

2020-10-09 20:48:54 UTC

150 gr .308 is what 45 grain of powder? I'm not sure what will happen but i assume nothing good

2020-10-09 20:50:23 UTC

I have seen pics of people's barrels split open

2020-10-09 20:50:46 UTC

Not sure if that's what caused it though

2020-10-09 20:51:02 UTC

i think the exact is actually around 42 grains

2020-10-09 20:51:18 UTC

i dont want to be the fool that fires that round though

2020-10-09 20:51:23 UTC

Lol only 4 ish times too much

2020-10-09 20:51:46 UTC

Mmm... nope
