Would a m1 garand be good for deer hunting
I kinda wasn’t one but I would probly need to Sell my single shot 44 mag for it
And it would be my first semi auto large caliber rifle
Yes
My 30.06 brought down a mile deer perfectly fine <#724105019393179660>
30.06 is fine for hunting
How about using a cannon to hunt

I'm going to do it
I'm looking at a 6.5 (creed or swede, haven't decided yet) for a long range hunting rifle. I'm just concerned that it might be bit under powered. Any thoughts?
I have a 6.5 creed, very good round
My dad dropped a deer with it
But get at least a 4-12 by 50 for it
Hornady performance would be very good for deer hunting
I'd say creedmore over Swede, but both are good for hunting
thanks guys. I really want a swede someday, but I think crede probably is going to start becoming cheaper than swede and its a bit more modern as well. 12x50? seems kinda big lol, but since u say so, I'll check em out.
Never heard of 6.5 Swede.
alot of cartridges out there, some I've not heard about in my 25+ years of shooting
ye, it is an older cartridge. I believe rifles such as the Swedish M96/94 were chambered in it.
3-9 is kinda small for 6.5
That’s what I have rn and absolutely hate it but it’s probly cuz it’s 40 mm
