the handguns are really loud

I dont use eye but ears are important

I don't really care about ear protection when I use an ar15

You can get passive ear pro like me that let you hear but muffle loud noises

Safariland makes plugs and other componies make muffs

Both are good

you could also make your gun suppressor ready

most can easily

some need some modifications

like threaded barrels
