bb guns are good for saving money, and practicing the fundamentals. Do it right though. If you dont learn to shoot properly with a bb gun, it will be harder to learn to use the real thing.

get an airsoft gun unless you plan to hunt with your gun. you can buy biodegradable bbs for airsoft.
