I don't really know how else you would, so imo yes they should be used, if worst comes to worst. imo your first amendment rights is to try to change the government, and if they go so far that you can no longer change them, you use your second amendment

also I'm looking for one without an external safety. i'm thinking this would prob be best just so they don't have to learn that extra step in switching off the safety in case they are in a deadly force encounter

Back when schools taught firearm safety and not to be scared of them. I saw that a couple weeks ago

kids don't necesasrily need to like shooting, but should learn the basics in case they need it to save their life someday
