I think so too. we trust 18y/olds to get married, vote, defend the country, live on there own, etc. give em a gun to. the whole "well we shouldnt give kids all their rights in one day" is bs imo, b/c thats why parents have 18 years to gradually give their kids new freedoms and *teach them* how to manage themselves.

the problem, i think, is that people dont want to take responsibility. rather, they want the gov. to control every aspect of everyone's lives, b/c then when shtf, they arent to blame.
