I've been researching this for a long time but I can't find a good source. I want to transfer my Xbox 1 minecraft world to minecraft Windows 10 edition. If I transfer the world using realms, then when I cancel my subscription, it says the world will be deleted in 18 months. If I make a copy of the world after I transfer it, will it not be deleted? Is there another way to transfer the world (I've heard about USB sticks to do it but I can't get a comprehensive guide on how)? Thank you for your time.

I haven’t done it, but I believe you can use realms to make a copy yes.

I’ve done similar on my phone using realm to make xBox-phone when I had an xBox realm community

Should work same way on pc as far as I’m concerned

OK new question. I found a good way to transfer worlds but I need to have the same account on Windows 10 as i have on Xbox. I signed into the Minecraft store using the same sign-in as I use on the xbox. It does not say my account name on the top right, but instead my email address. I want to be sure that I have the same account on Xbox as I have on Windows 10. Is this possible?

rn my computer is a chromebook, practically a glorified tablet, so I've been pretty excited

But like I said earlier you can transfer via realm or maybe a USB drive? Idk how a USB thumb drive would work on an Xbox
